Description
I've heard short eared owls live in one of our parks. I have walked through the park a number of times and have never had the pleasure of seeing one. That changed today. I looked up. I normally had been looking on the ground because they are ground nesters - or, so I thought. Who do I spot on this blustery day? I do believe I found myself a short eared owl in a tree.
